Handmade Cards to Santa From St. Eugene Kids [Photos]

Joe Merisola's third-grade class hand-made cards to Santa and God, asking them to bring peace, love and toys to the sick and poor. Take a look.

It's an annual tradition at St. Eugene School in Fox Point that second and third-graders take a moment to write to that holly jolly man in red and make a few requests.

This year, students in Joe Merisola's class asked mostly for Santa and God to help the poor, end the war in Afghanistan and how he and Mrs. Claus were doing. Students hand-crafted cards, designing their own colorful creations on the front.
