Jazz Band To Help Maple Dale Middle Students In Music Clinic
'Sweet Talk,' a Brooklyn-based jazz trio, will be helping music students at Maple Dale Middle School, but they need financial support from the community to make the clinic happen.
The jazz trio Sweet Talk will be taking some time out from their tour and coming to Maple Dale Middle School for a music clinic on April 15.
The clinic is being funded entirely through donations at no cost to the school district and they are close to making their $400 goal.
"Like most school music departments today, Maple Dale's music budget is completely spent," according to the band's page on Kickstarter. "For these students, having a workshop run by professional touring musicians can make a world of difference in their development on and off the stage."

Following the clinic, band members Dustin Carlson and Devin Drobka will perform that evening at Via Downer in Milwaukee.
