Nicolet’s boys soccer team hosts Sussex Hamilton at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the WIAA state tournament.
The Knights are seeded seventh in the 16-team sectional in pairings released Friday, posting an outstanding overall record of 13-3-2, according to WisSports.net. They’re fourth in the competitive North Shore Conference.
Hamilton is the 10th seed in the bracket, which is topped by Arrowhead. The Chargers are 9-7-1 overall, according to WisSports.net, and are seventh in the Greater Metro Conference.
The winner likely faces Menomonee Falls, the No. 2 seed, which opens against Milwaukee Riverside.
