North Shore Bands Together to Raise Money for District Foundations

Tailgate party, Bucky Badger and UW marching band all to be featured on Sunday at Nicolet.

Bucky Badger and the UW-Madison marching band are going on a road trip to the North Shore.

Band Together, a community tailgate to support the four Nicolet Unified School District Foundations, starts at noon Sunday in the gymnasium with photo opportunities with Bucky, an instrument "petting zoo," performances by the UW-Madison marching band and local school bands, concessions, a silent auction and a raffle.

The proceeds support the Fox Point-Bayisde, Glendale-River Hills, Maple Dale-Indian Hill and Nicolet High School foundations.

Admission to the tailgate party is free, but a ticket is required to see the UW marching band perform at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 and available at all four school district offices, and also at the event.
