Teachers Coming and Going at Maple Dale-Indian Hill

Teacher lineup for Fall changing as district hires one, and accepts the resignation of another.

The schools will see some changes this fall as the board approved hiring one new second grade teacher, and the resignation of an art teacher on Wednesday.

Anna Kordysh will be moving into the second-grade teacher position this fall. Kordysh has been the long-term substitute teacher after second grade teacher Cindy Adornato took a leave of absence in early March.  School Board member Mark Goldstien said there were many candidates for the position.  Kordysh is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

More changes came after the board approved the resignation of Art Teacher Katherine Nowak who served as a part-time art teacher since 2007.  Nowak is taking a full time art position at Homestead High School in the Mequon-Thiensville School District this fall.  In her letter of resignation, Nowak thanked Maple Dale-Indian Hill District for the wonderful experience.  The School Board says they have not begun the search for a replacement.
