Winning Art Reveled: First Place Winner in 2012 WASB Art Exhibition

Art instructor says Chara Yu leads by example.

Chara Yu, a junior at , was chosen as the first place winner in the 2012 Wisconsin Association of School Boards Art Exhibition.

"She is one of the sweetest, most sincere, humble people I have ever met," Nicolet art instructor Patty Leeson said. "She has an extraordinary work ethic and is a quiet leader who leads by example."

She was recognized for her artwork with a ceremony at the Frontier Airlines Convention Center, savings bonds and her original piece will be framed and hung in the Indiana Insurance Company offices in Milwaukee.
