Fog Doesn't Deter Lakeshore Lacrosse

Team holds down state's leading scorer in 10-1 victory over Heritage Christian.

Lakeshore Lacrosse slowed down the state's leading scorer and easily defeated Heritage Christian 10-1 in a boys high school lacrosse on Friday.

Tyler Goglio of Heritage Christian topped the state in scoring but got only a single goal against a Lakeshore defense led by Andrew Reidy and Owen Morgan. Goalies Quinn Mooney and Dan Wilson needed to make only six total saves as Goglio's shots were often rushed or from bad angles.

On offense, Lakeshore co-captains Anders Bjella and Collin Braam each had six points.Β  Alex McMurtry notched three goals and Quinten Ziegler and Will Tucker each had one.

Lakeshore's next game is at 3 p.m. Sunday vs. Waukesha at Concordia University in Mequon.
