The game was 5-all at halftime before Lakeshore took control. USM finished with a season-high nine penalties.

USM coach Cameron Feist said, “The major highlight from the game was senior James Shovers, who was new to the sport at the beginning of the season who did an outstanding job starting as our third long pole, despite the fact that he only had one practice in that position all season long.”
