POLL: Would You Buy Packers Stock?
The only publicly owned team in the NFL sold 1,600 shares in the first 11 minutes of the sale.
In the fifth ever stock sale of the Green Bay Packers, there's been a swarm of interest from people who want to own a piece of the 12-0 defending Super Bowl Championship team.
According to WITI-Fox 6, people can purchase one of 250,000 shares for $250 each. There's also a $25 handling charge, both online and by mail.
While the stock has no financial value, any stockholders can vote on team business matters. The stock can not be resold.
