Head Varsity Girls' Lacrosse Team Coach one of only eight chosen to coach National All-Star Team.

United Sports Lacrosse has selected girls lacrosse coach, Samantha Adey, as one of only eight coaches nation-wide to coach at the All-American Showcase this July in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

The All-American Showcase is part of the ESPN Rise Games. The top 80 US Lacrosse High-School All-Americans are invited to attend. The 80 attendees from all parts of the country will be split into four teams and will compete throughout the three days of the event.

“I am honored to be chosen,” said Adey. “I am really looking forward to this opportunity to coach the best high school players in the country.”

And it's not just Adey who's excited, other USM faculty are also enthusiastic for her success.

“This honor, to be chosen, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," Cameron Feist, USM boys’ lacrosse coach said. "I'm sure Sam will bring back skills, drills and stories from this positive experience. This honor for Sam also brings recognition that Wisconsin Lacrosse is growing to the level to be able to offer a coach for this event.”

Adey played lacrosse in high school at Germantown Academy near Philadelphia, PA., and also in college at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Adey was named Lehigh’s 2000 Athlete of the Year in Women’s Lacrosse and chosen for the Patriot League’s Academic-Athletic Honor Roll the same year.

A US Lacrosse Level 2 certified coach, Adey has been coaching the USM girls’ team for the past two years and she helped move girls lacrosse from a club sport to a varsity sport. Adey is also on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation (WLF) and is the WLF Director of Girls’ High School Lacrosse.  She is presently a head coach for the Milwaukee Select Club Lacrosse program and a member of Wisconsin Lacrosse Coaches Association.
