Deals and Steals: Your Local Garage Sale Guide

Whether you call them garage sales, rummage sales or yard sales, Patch wants to be the first place you check each weekend to find locally used treasures. 

We want anyone who's planning a yard sale toenter it in our community calendar. Not only will it show up in our daily morning newsletter sent to thousands of local residents, it will also show up on our home page the day of your yard sale.

Bayside Garage Sale

• Aug. 18, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Location: 840 E. Standish Pl., Bayside

This garage sale will feature clothing for both teen boys and girls, as well as adults, household items, garden tools, dishes, small kitchen appliances and utensils, cookware and bake ware, stainless silverware, books, new twin mattress and box spring, two matching red leather couches, living room accessories, stereo speakers, bar stools, Thule cargo box, miscellaneous school supplies, snowboard, sports equipment, kids toys, miscellaneous furniture, a bedroom set which includes a dresser, nightstand, bed frame (Full size) and more.

Sale at Congregation Emanu-El B'ne Jeshurun

• Aug. 19, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Aug. 20, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Location: 2020 W. Brown Deer Rd., River Hills

This sale will feature liturgical furniture from the Kenwood Sanctuary and Chapel Office furniture including desks, chairs, file cabinets and miscellaneous All items will be priced to sell. Glendale Four-Family Rummage Sale

• Aug. 18, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Location: 227 W. Nicolet Ct., Glendale

Four famililes are banning together to host a multi-family rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Items include COACH purses, Graco Pack and Play, automatic garbage can, books, women's/men's/baby clothing, toys, lots of household items, car seat, small stereo cabinet, coffee table, decorative pieces, kitchen items, fireplace shield, miscellaneous furniture, games, stuffed animals, bikes and more. Last hour bag sale---$5 all you can fit in a paper shopping bag (some exclusions apply).
