Dr. Crain’s area of specialization is Jewish history and European anti-Semitism. He is also interested in conflict studies, particularly the Arab-Israeli conflict and the sectarian problems in Northern Ireland. Dr. Crain teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Center for Hebrew Studies and the Department of History.

Christian-Jewish relations from the Middle Ages through the present with discussion of anti-Semitism in 19th Century Europe, the holocaust in the 20th Century and modern relationships.
