Have at It: Time to nix the permit?

MADISON – The situation in the Wisconsin Capitol rotunda has reached a new level of ridiculous.
Last week brought three consecutive days of police citations for members of the Solidarity Singalong who gathered for their daily musical protest, once again, without a permit.

On Monday, the Solidarity group moved outside, making way for another singing group, organized by conservative columnist David Blaska, that got a permit just to highlight the fact that the Solidarity group continued to sing without one.
Tuesday brought another round of citations.

But Wednesday brought a reprieve, as the Solidarity group benefited from a permit garnered but unused, by NBC15.
The ongoing silliness brings to mind this question from the conclusion of “The Help”:
“Ain’t you tired, Miss Hilly? Ain’t you tired?”
