This district is comprised of four communities and three school districts, including Maple Dale-Indian Hill, Fox Point-Bayside and Glendale-River Hills. Each has its own superintendent and school board.

The district office is located within Nicolet High School, just left of the front entrance and supports roughly 12,000 households.

The district also runs many of the recreation activities for the local North Shore community. Some of those activities include (but are not limited to):

Sheepshead
Chess
Youth activities (basketball, volleyball, golf, dance, swimming)
Teen activities (archery, debate, babysitting, drivers education)
Adult activities (cooking, piano, gardening, stained glass)
Senior activities (safety driving, dance, band concerts)
