North Shore Fire Department, Station 5

The North Shore Fire Department station 5, completed in 2004, is the newest station to the North Shore. Station 5 has 15 firefighters who work in three shifts of 5 people each. Within the station, there is a separate ambulance bay from the garage where the trucks are stored for safety and sanitation. Down the hall are small rooms where the on-duty firefighters sleep. A living room and kitchen make up the larger portion of the station equipped with a full kitchen, television and conference table. The station is on East Brown Deer Road at North Rexleigh Drive.
