Greek Fest Continues Through Weekend at State Fair Park

Food, dancing, food, music, food, raffles and, by the way, food, is featured at 46th annual festival.

Flaming cheese. Hundreds of lambs and chickens roasting over live open coals. Dancers and musicians performing in authentic Greek fashion and in colorful, traditional garb. Did we mention flaming cheese and roasting lambs? If that didn't get you, how about the return to Greek Fest, after far too long, of the original souvlaki sandwich on a bun. Ah, now we've got you. Greek Fest opened Friday and continues Saturday and Sunday at State Fair Park. The festival is free and family-friendly Friday night until 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., then 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. The 46th annual Greek Fest is sponsored by Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 9400 W. Congress St., Wauwatosa, famous for its Frank Lloyd Wright design. From the …
