Nicolet Students Putting Pen to Paper

Four student-athletes signed letters of intent Friday for St. Louis University, University of Iowa, University of Akron and McHenry College.

In front of around 60 friends, family, and coaches inside the D-Wing Library of Nicolet High School, four student-athletes signed their letters of intent Thursday. Briana Gray (Basketball, St. Louis University), Calli Head (Diving, University of Iowa), Jessica Kloehn (Volleyball, University of Akron) and CJ Putterman (Baseball, McHenry College) all signed their letters of intent to commit to those universities. Chris Dempsey is Calli Head's diving coach and said she's a "great asset to the team." Gray had transferred into Nicolet before the 2011 season and made an immediate impact.
