Runaway Teens Try to Take Stolen Car, Playboy Blankie to Canada

Two teens stole a car in Illinois and were busted in Bayside when they got in a fender bender, foiling their plot to run away to Canada for what they thought was the recently legalized marijuana and lower drinking age.

Bayside police foiled the plans of two teenage boys after they stole a car and tried to run away to Canada for they thought was recently legalized marijuana, and lower drinking age there. Among the items they brought along were a Google map to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and a Playboy blanket. Bayside police were patrolling the Brown Deer and Port Washington roads intersection just before 11 a.m. on Dec. 23 when they witnessed a car accident, according to their report. A car with Illinois plates making a right-hand turn on red didn’t yield to oncoming traffic and sideswiped another driver, alerting police with the loud crunching sound as the cars collided, the report said. Missing Elderly Couple Found Safe in Bay View

The couple was last seen Thursday evening when they visited a relative on Lake Drive in Fox Point. After nearly 18 hours, the couple was found safe in the Bay View neighborhood.

A Milwaukee couple was missing for 18 hours after visiting family in Fox Point Thursday night, but have now been found safe according to Milwaukee Police. Douglas (age 78) and Berna (age 83) Levy live at St. John's Home, 1840 N. Prospect Ave. in Milwaukee, but never made it home after leaving a relative's home on Lake Drive in Fox Point Thursday night. They were reported missing to Milwaukee Police at 1 a.m. Friday morning. Milwaukee Police have not released any information yet as to where the couple were.

The couple was last seen Thursday evening when they visited a relative on Lake Drive in Fox Point. They never made it to their East Side home. Have you seen them?

A Milwaukee couple is missing after visiting family in Fox Point last night. Douglas (age 78) and Berna (age 83) Levy live at 1840 N. Prospect Ave. in Milwaukee, but never made it home after leaving a relative's home on Lake Drive in Fox Point Thursday night according to the Milwaukee Police Department.  Police say the couple was driving a 2006 silver Toyota Highlander hybrid with Wisconsin plates 726-TWV and they weren't alone. Their brown and white beagle and Jack Russell terrier mix, "Buster" was also along with them. Douglas is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 220 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. Berna is 4 feet, 11 inches tall, 110 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee …
