Does Wisconsin Owe You Money?

The MDIH PTO and University School of Milwaukee have unclaimed financial assets with the Wisconsin Department of Treasury. Check to see if you are owed any money.

On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Treasury Department returned more than $500,000 to 91 people and businesses.  Do you have money coming your way? According to the Treasury Department, unclaimed property is any financial asset that has been left with a “holder,” such as a bank, insurance company or other business or organization, without activity or contact for one year or more. This can be things like checking and savings accounts, uncashed dividends, overpayments, stocks or refunds.  Locally, Roundy's Inc. owes Maple Dale-Indian Hill PTO up to $1,000. The University School of Milwaukee is owed up to $1,000 from Weyco Group, Inc. And these are just local businesses.  Let Patch save you time. Get great local stories like this delivered right to …
