Obama Carries Fox Point and Bayside

Following voting trends for the last three presidential elections, both Fox Point and Bayside voted in favor of Democratic candidates by a close margin.

Fox Point and Bayside sided with the big winners Tuesday night, supporting President Barack Obama and Senator-elect Tammy Baldwin, both Democrats. Bayside broke Democrat in every race, though by narrow margins in some. Congresswoman Gwen Moore outpolled Dan Sebring 1,298-1,185 in the race for the U.S. House of Representatives in District 4, while Cris Rogers edged overall winner Jim Ott 1,334-1,307 in the State Assembly 23rd District. Fox Point narrowly supported GOP candidates in the District 4 race, as Sebring edged Moore by 100 votes; and in the state 23rd District race, with Ott outpolling Rogers by 107 votes.
