Suspect, 22, is charged with his second drunk driving offense after a Fox Point police officer catches him speeding in the village.
A 22-year-old Green Bay man is accused of driving drunk while speeding through Fox Point Saturday. Antonio Javier Morales was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Sunday with one count of second offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to six months in jail and $1,100 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Saturday, a Fox Point police officer on patrol in the 8300 block of North Port Washington Road saw Morales driving a van northbound and doing 45 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour speed zone. A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman is facing her second drunk driving charge after she was caught allegedly driving in the wrong lane of traffic in Fox Point. Christina Cordova was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of second offense operating while intoxicated, one count of operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration and one count of operating a motor vehicle after revocation of her license. A 34-year-old Hartford man was arrested for his second OWI offense after he was pulled over near the Appleby's Service Station in Fox Point for a suspended license. Officers were concerned he may have had taken drugs because he was noticeably twitching during their entire encounter, but the man said it wasn't exactly illegal drugs. Fox Point police arrested a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman for OWI just after 3 a.m. on Feb. 26. Officers were parked in the 200 block of West Calumet Road and noticed a car driving on the wrong side of Port Washington Road. According to the report, the car had a right turn signal blinking, but stopped in the middle of the intersection before continuing straight. The left side tires were also in the fog line.
