Cement Statue Crosses Village Lines, Ends Up in Parked Car

This family found their pumpkins smashed and a three-foot cement statue in an unlocked car that police later discovered belonged to a Fox Point family.

It was a not-so-happy Halloween for one Bayside family when they discovered vandalism and a strangely placed statue Nov. 1.  A teenager in the 300 block of West Manor Circle told Bayside police someone smashed several pumpkins in the driveway and left a three-foot cement statue of a small boy with a bucket in the front passenger seat of his unlocked car, the police report said.  He told police the statute didn’t belong to him and he had no idea where it came from. He said he called the only person he thought may have been involved, but that teen denied taking any part, the report said.
