A 13th Drunken Driving Charge, Money Laundering and Child Abuse

This week's regional crime roundup also includes sexual assaults of employees at the Waukesha County jail, a sentence for a man who tried to meet a child for sex and a man shot in the shoulder by a disgruntled customer.

A man charged with his 13th drunken driving offense, a Mount Pleasant couple accused of laundering drug money by purchasing a restaurant and other property, and a jail kitchen supervisor sexually harassing—and assaulting—the women who worked for him are some of the serious crime and police stories in southeastern Wisconsin reported by Patch this week. 13th drunken driving charge: A crash on Interstate 94 in Brookfield led to a 13th drunken driving charge for a 50-year-old West Allis man. The man had driven his car off the highway and struck a median barrier before a state trooper caught up to him. Former WELS Employee Gets Prison for Following Boys

The former communications director for the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod is headed to prison for following a boys cross country team while he was on probation for having child pornography.

After Patch wrote about a man suspected by Hudson police of molesting a 14-year-old girl, Racine police received a tip that he was in a local hotel and picked him up.
