The Village Scrapbook: Burritos With Patch

Submissions from residents showcasing a day-in-the-life in Fox Point and Bayside.

Just over a dozen Fox Point, Bayside and Glendale residents got together Wednesday at Los Paisa Mexican Restaurant to snag a burrito, or in some cases a tostada, and chat about the community. Not only did we come up with lots of great, future story ideas, but we chatted about ongoing news in our community and how to make Patch better.  Editor's Note: Do you have a picture showcasing you or your family (pets included)? We want to paint a picture of what it's like to be a Bayside or Fox Point resident. If you have a picture you'd like us to use in our Village Scrapbook, email editor Sarah Worthman at: sarah.worthman@patch.com.

Submissions from residents showcasing a day-in-the-life in Fox Point and Bayside.

Courtesy of Lynne Wolfe at St. Eugene School: Students at St. Eugene School had a chance to have a little more fun than usual at school, while being reminded of our mission as a Catholic School. Since service is a central part of how we live out our faith as Catholics, the students brought in donations for the Foundation for Children with Cancer and St. Ben’s Valentine Bag Drive. Each day of the week there were special activities; Students met with their Junior Olympic teams for breakfast and created thank you notes for their parents, played Trivia & Bingo over the loudspeaker, Skyped with another St. Eugene School out of Chicago, IL, and cheered on the teachers at the much anticipated annual volleyball game against the eighth-graders!  …
