The new grocer has been remodeling the old Borders location and plans to open its second Wisconsin store at 9 a.m. that Wednesday complete with grand opening festivities.
Following months of anticipation from anxious residents after The Fresh Market first announced it was coming to Fox Point last September, the new grocer has finally announced it will open at 9 a.m. on April 25. “We are excited to open our store in Fox Point and to expand our reach in Wisconsin,” said Craig Carlock, the company’s president and chief executive officer, in a press release. The new location is at 8705 N. Port Washington Rd. in RiverPoint Shopping Center and there's a bit bigger plan for the grand opening than just swinging open the front doors.
