A 34-year-old Hartford man was arrested for his second OWI offense after he was pulled over near the Appleby's Service Station in Fox Point for a suspended license. Officers were concerned he may have had taken drugs because he was noticeably twitching during their entire encounter, but the man said it wasn't exactly illegal drugs. According to the report: Just before 4 a.m. on May 20, a Fox Point police officer was patrolling in the 7900 block of North Port Washington Road and did a license plate check on a passing car. A 22-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for marijuana possession after police noticed his burned out taillight. His reaction after being pulled over was a bit unusual. According to the report: A Fox Point police officer was driving north in the 8500 block of North Port Washington Road about 2:30 a.m. on May 19 and saw a car heading the other direction with a burned-out taillight. When the officer turned his car around, the other car sped up. The officer pulled him over and when he approached the car, the windows had a very dark tint so it was hard to see inside. He noticed the driver seemed very agitated because he kept moving around, looking backwards. When the officer got close to the window to speak to the man, the driver used his hand …

A 22-year-old Fox Point man was arrested for OWI outside the Open Pantry after a store clerk called in about an impaired driver returning for a second time. The man and his 18-year-old male passenger offered no explanation for the pile of stuff outside his car — including condoms and energy drinks. According to the report: An Open Pantry clerk called Fox Point police at 3:29 a.m. on May 1 to report a possibly impaired driver in the parking lot. She said this was the same vehicle she had seen earlier in the evening. She said he seemed intoxicated and attempted to hide a "Naked" juice in his jacket pocket. When she asked if he was going to pay for the juice, he put it back on the shelf and left the store. Officers pulled the car over in the …
