A 17-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of spraying Oleoresin spray at a security guard while trying to steal three pairs of jeans from Kohl's.
Pepper spray didn't help a man charged with pilfering some pants from Kohl's at Bayshore Mall. Malik R. Howard, 17, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Thursday with one count of retail theft and one count of use of Oleoresin spray causing bodily harm. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison and $20,000 in fines. A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman is accused of spitting in a Glendale police officer’s face after he escorted her from an area hotel. Sherrell Shante Griffin was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of expelling bodily fluids at a public safety officer. If convicted, she faces up to 1 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Saturday, a Glendale police officer was called to LaQuinta Inn & Suites, 5110 N. "Cheese it," police tell man who harassed pizza purveyors in the belief that his delivery was subject to fowl play.
Glendale police officers are investigating an incident where a man threatened to shoot Pizza Hut employees and harassed them with dozens of phone calls after he claimed to find bird droppings in his food. According to documents filed in Milwaukee County Circuit Court, employees of Pizza Hut, 6040 N. Port Washington Road, contacted the Glendale Police Department after a person began to call and harass them from Dec. 11 through 14. A 44-year-old Milwaukee man is charged with shoplifting from Kohl’s at Bayshore Mall, then trying to escape security and Glendale police officers. Dion Lamont Summers was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of retail theft, one count of obstructing an officer and three counts of bail jumping. If convicted, he faces up to 45 months in prison and $40,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: Glendale police officers were called to Kohl’s Saturday after a security guard saw Summers enter the store, take some merchandise and go into a fitting room from which he later emerged without the items. A 20-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of trying to flee a Glendale police officer and was only stopped after hitting two different stop sticks during a high-speed chase near Bayshore Town Center. Bryant B. Oglen Jr. was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Monday with one count of attempting to flee a traffic officer. If convicted, he faces up to 1½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. Underprivilidged kids who may not normally see happy holidays are getting a chance Sunday when they will Shop With a Glendale Cop at Kohl's. For the fifth year, the Glendale Professional Police Officer’s Association will take 10 second- and third-graders from Parkway Elementary School Christmas shopping for their families. Each student is outfitted with $100, from GPPA, iPic and Kohl's, to spend on themselves and their families at Kohl's Department Store. After shopping, all the kids and officers will head over to iPic for a complimentary lunch and bowling. A 51-year-old Milwaukee man is facing hefty fines and prison time for trying to boost some jewelry from Boston Store. Kevin Frederick Wallace was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of retail theft. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: Wallace walked into Boston Store at Bayshore Town Center and a store security guard saw him pick several pieces of jewelry, take the tags off and place in his pocket. Wallace then left the store, but was stopped and Glendale police officers were called to the scene. Wallace is currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail on a $250 signature bond while awaiting trial.

I-Team reporter Rob Koebel accused of swearing at police and asking "Do you know who you're messing with?" after he was caught urinating outside of the Apple store.

Nicolet resource officer Kelly DeJonge is now accepting applications for the Youth Police Academy.
As she walks the halls of Nicolet High School, a lot of students know Kelly DeJonge as the school's resource officer. Now, dozens of teens are getting to know her as a teacher too, thanks to the six-week Youth Police Academy that she helps teach through the Glendale Police department. “This gives them a chance to see me and the police work I do outside of the school,” DeJonge said. The annual course begins in March and is free to the 15 students who apply and are selected.
