Two teens stole a car in Illinois and were busted in Bayside when they got in a fender bender, foiling their plot to run away to Canada for what they thought was the recently legalized marijuana and lower drinking age.
Bayside police foiled the plans of two teenage boys after they stole a car and tried to run away to Canada for they thought was recently legalized marijuana, and lower drinking age there. Among the items they brought along were a Google map to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and a Playboy blanket. Bayside police were patrolling the Brown Deer and Port Washington roads intersection just before 11 a.m. on Dec. 23 when they witnessed a car accident, according to their report.
