"Do you post the patch comments on Facebook then continue the responses?"
That'd be some trick, eh?

My stories are shared, forwarded and recommended quite a bit on Facebook (obviously), and the readers seem to prefer commenting right under the FB post (quicker).
I decided a few months ago that I didn't want to lose the many insightful comments/discussions/encouraging words (especially the encouragement directed at my story's subjects), to FB obscurity.
As a *very* small business owner, I use my blog postings and *all* responses to it as a way to connect with the community. The comments/discussions that I forward from FB help to give insight into who I am as a person and private instructor.
I've found that the comments/discussions I post have been extremely valuable in helping several "green" parents/prospective learners (locally and nationally) to find a "place to start" when figuring out "this whole percussion thing." These folks find common ground in the "discussion posts," and this has provided them with better questions to ask store owners/instructors when searching for "the right fit" for lessons, closer to where they live. As a business owner yourself, I'm sure you recognize that, to some, many store operators/instructors can be incredibly intimidating -- especially "artistic/musician" types.
This is why I re-post *all* of the comments/discussions/encouraging words that come in from FB.
Thanks for commenting. ;)

Fair enough, buddy!
You'll get things worked out, I'm sure.
Too much enthusiasm on your part not to!
