ReplyYou guys are making it sound as if Adam went and interviewed the lady, then went and talked to the guy before writing this story. As it clearly says in the article: "According to the criminal complaint:" That's where he got the facts; he can only report what the police wrote down. I get frustrated, too, when stories seem to have details missing. But I don't think you can blame Adam for that.

ReplyThe power is back on now (came on at about 4:40pm). According to WE Energies, the outages that have occurred recently are the fault of the construction crews working on The Lighthorse Building.

ReplyAdam, do you have any information on what time of day any of these incidents may have happened? I try to keep an eye out and am curious if there's a pattern. Also, I saw something that I thought was strange on one of those days but dismissed it. Now I'm wondering if there was something to it.

FTF, you seem to be implying that more guns automatically means a more dangerous society but that's simply not the case. Take Northern Wisconsin, for example. There are more guns in homes in rural areas than in the city of Milwaukee, yet Milwaukee has 20 times the number of murders. It's who has the guns, not the fact that guns exist. I'm more worried about the wrong person being armed and me being unable to defend myself. There's a reason most shooting rampages happen at schools, churches and malls and not at police stations.

If you can fire more than one shot without reloading, yet have to squeeze the trigger with each round you fire, it's a semi-automatic gun. An old west-style revolver is technically a semi-automatic, as are 99% of all guns out there.
