That's a nice sentiment but once the Genie came out of the bottle and the government was allowed to grow - it's not possible.
You would have to eliminate the income tax, property tax, and the Federal Reserve - which in neither but a privately owned Central Bank that creates FIAT out of thin air. Real money is Gold OR Silver, not linen paper with ink and fancy printing. Corporations are another government created abomination that would need to go!
With a system built to run on $20/bbl oil already past peak oil - it's not happening. Trillions have been promised - that will never be paid. You will also NEVER end the grip of government as long as there is a democracy where people can vote their paychecks and self-interests.
Democrats and Republicans can only argue about the speed at which they will run the train over the cliff at. They never want to reverse direction!

I also had this same question - who is this "they". Yeah, they'll sit around and lose money all day - to wait for closing time to take a drunk home and not even get a tip.
Plan your drunks in advance so you don't have to drive!

"Mayor Rahm Emanuel plans to start reducing health insurance coverage next year for more than 30,000 retired city workers and begin shifting them to President Barack Obama's new federal system. The details are in a letter the city plans to send to retirees this week.
Chicago Fraternal Order of Police First Vice President Bill Dougherty called the mayor's plan "a poor decision"."
Obamacare = Poor Decision!
"Henry Bayer, executive director of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 31, said the uncertainties of the Affordable Care Act and the state insurance exchanges they would create make the city's plan hard to assess.
"This uncertainty will cause anxiety and fear for tens of thousands of seniors who gave their working lives to public service — men and women whose retirement savings are already under attack in the name of 'pension reform.'" Bayer said. "Our union will be working to get answers to our many questions, to ensure the City Council closely oversees the administration's proposals, and to protect access to affordable health care for city retirees now and in the future."

That tells you all you need to know - public employees have it TOO good! It is unsustainable.

ReplyIn April there were 51 foreclosures bringing the total to 167 for the first 4 months of 2013. Many of the foreclosures are rental properties, and occasionally there is a foreclosure on a large block of rentals with the same owner. It is just another effect of the continuing unemployment situation in Racine. People are leaving Racine, which is creating a surplus of housing, driving down prices, and unsaleable homes are simply abandoned. This is a growing problem which won’t go away.

Want to bet that the torturer grew up without a father? It's about guaranteed.
It's Racine - and another day. The breeder was in on it - the boyfriend was more important - the children are the unwanted product of the sexual activity. They were UNWANTED.
It's time to license and regulate breeding. Once again - it would have been more humane if the child had been forcibly aborted.
