About Schlitz
Just 15 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee on the shore of Lake Michigan, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center's 6 miles of trails take visitors through 185 acres of unspoiled natural beauty. Visit the Center year-round to hike, jog, stroll along the beach or find a quiet haven to commune with nature. Our Center also provides nature education programs for toddlers though senior citizens. Our raptor program is the most comprehensive of its kind and currently houses over a dozen birds, including a Bald Eagle, Turkey Vulture, owls, hawks, and falcons.
