12th Annual Amphibian Search at the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest
It’s that time of the year again! The frogs are back and so is the search for them. Join SANC’s amigo of the anurans (frogs) and chum of the chelonians (turtles) Jim Hyatt as we put on hip waders (provided by SANC) and stroll through special breeding ponds. We’ll use strainers and nets to catch frogs, toads, salamanders, and tadpoles. We will meet at the Nature Center in the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest. A day fee of $7 for residents and $10 for non-residents is required if you venture beyond the Nature Center. Additional info provided upon enrollment.
